The people who stay with us are as varied as the over 100 people we house.
Many have experienced a disadvantaged life laced with hatred and abuse; now
they simply need a home of concern and acceptance. Many are mentally
handicapped; without family, they have come to the Foundation. Victims of
violence and crime, the conditions of living on the street, the Foundation
has offered a whole new life for those who stay with us. Some have
experience the tragedy of drug or alcohol addiction and simply need a
place to seek a transition into a new life of freedom. Others have lost
housing through financial ruin, fire or tragedy. All are without housing,
all are in need. |
