| Everyone at the Eastern Orthodox Foundation is dedicated to extending a
helping hand. When Father George Hnatko founded the Eastern Orthodox
Foundation in 1966, he saw a need to help the poor and homeless. Father
George responded in a real way by providing a clean and kind place to
stay. For those who had experienced life in institutions or the suffering
of addiction, the care and concern in this new home would provide the
catalyst to reshape a wholesome life. Since this first vision and humble
beginnings, the staff has grown to over 45 people who share the same
ideals. The staff of the Eastern Orthodox Foundation has grown to include
professional and skilled clergy, counselors, educators, administrators,
case workers, a physician, psychiatrist, dentist, dietician, and a
complete nursing staff as well as housekeeping and maintenance personnel.
While the nursing staff is always present on a 24-hour basis, visits by
the physician are available on a regularly scheduled basis. |
