In providing Personal Care and also serving as a Transitional Living Center, those who stay at the Foundation, our "guests," are provided with a comprehensive array of services. Shelter is provided in modern and spacious buildings amidst a beautiful and rustic setting. Food is prepared by a professional dietary staff and supervised by a dietician. Clothing is provided to those in need. Clothing, towels and linens are maintained by our housekeeping department. In attempting to meet more than the basic living and medical needs, spiritual and recreational needs are also met: daily activities are scheduled, including transportation to physical recreation, cultural events and shopping. Other services provided include financial budgeting, job preparation, counseling, assistance with job or community placement and training in self-care. Networks with State and County agencies include partial and basic educational services and Workshop. |
