Simply,
because we care. Propelled by a sacred trust, the Eastern Orthodox
Foundation is committed to engendering the God-given dignity of every
person, to see the beauty and significance of every person beyond the veil
of disabilities and handicaps. Many have had the vision of themselves
blurred by poverty and circumstance. Our goal is to open the guest to a
clear and defined self-vision, seeing for themselves their own dignity and
worth. Our hope for this new vision of self-esteem is to liberate the
guest to a full and productive life in the community. Our immediate aim is
to engage in the charitable work in providing for the destitute and
homeless, the sick, the orphaned, the aged and disabled, as well as the
mentally handicapped.
We are
committed to improving the life of all persons who are disadvantaged
regardless of gender, race, color, creed or national origin. No one who
has ever come to the Eastern Orthodox Foundation in need has ever been
turned away. |
